Wine in moderation
?
Dear Donna,
I notice you're holding a glass
of wine in your photos. Drinking in moderation isn't
vile, is it? I enjoy a glass of wine over dinner and
sometimes a small nip of sherry as a nightcap. My partner
claims to be disgusted by the smell of alcohol on my
breath. But there's nothing wrong with a small amount
of wine, is there?
Catherine Yespmed

Dear Catherine,
Hate to tell you, darling, but a
small amount of wine is the pits. I may be drinking
a glass of wine in my photos, but believe me, it wouldn't
have been the first. More like the twenty-first.
Listen to the truth from one wh's
been there. Even a small amount of wine can cause you
do things you'd never do sober, and make you feel ashamed
later. On the other hand, you'll never feel ashamed
if you drink a large amount of wine, because you can't
be held responsible. How can you feel bad about doing
things you don't even remember?
That's why my advice is: if you
don't want to stay sober, then drink like a fish. Drinking
in moderation is the worst of both worlds. Avoid it
like the plague!
Donna knows!
