EVIDENCE:
that the Terminalists were
a political party in Orblast
Given the constantly changing nature of
politics in the Austrian town of Orblast, it is surprising
that any historical evidence has come down to us. But the
Swiss historian, Clement Westhof, was able to reproduce an
entire Terminalist Program for 1894 in his classic study of
millenarian movements, A Study of Millennarian Movements:
From the Renaissance to the Great War (Francke Verlag:
Bern/München, 1930). The English translation of the book,
by J.P. Anthony, can be readily found in most research libraries;
unfortunately, Westhof's documentation was lost in the Anschlüsss
of 1938. However, no-one can doubt that so eminent a historian
was quoting from an original source.
